From the qualifying race, the intensity was obvious. Every corner and every decision matters. And when you’re racing in tight classes like Class C, the margins are small.

For Devon Dreyer,  who brought home second place in Class C, it was exactly the kind of day you want to kick off a season with.

“It’s an adrenaline rush, it felt so good to be back in the car,” he said. “Class C is seriously competitive, so I’ll definitely take the result.”

He knew it wouldn’t be easy. “There are a few really quick guys in the class. My focus was just making sure I was on pace the whole day. The heat didn’t make it any easier either.” In racing, you don’t just compete against other drivers; you’re managing conditions, pressure, and your own expectations at the same time. Devon  did exactly that.

Daniel Munna summed up the mood heading into 2026 in three words: “Excited, exhilarating, and ready.”

This season brings a slightly different dynamic. A single-light start now sends all the classes charging into Turn 1 together, which means the first corner is even more intense.

“The new competition in the class and the one-light starts definitely change things,” he explained. “We did a lot of work on the car over the holidays, but we didn’t get as much testing in as we would’ve liked. That led to some reliability issues with the new engine.”

That’s racing. Sometimes the prep is there, the commitment is there, and you still have to adapt on the day. The difference is how you respond.

Ross  Schröder  experienced the full emotional spectrum of motorsport in one afternoon. “Building up to the first race definitely got the nerves going,” he said. “But after a few practice sessions and improvements on the car and lap times, I was feeling confident and excited to get going.”

That confidence paid off, he started on pole for the first race. But racing can turn in seconds. An early accident meant he didn’t even complete a lap.

What followed was four hours in the pits repairing the car before the second heat. Starting from the back of the pack, Ross fought his way through the field to finish third.

“Finishing third was a great way to end the day.” It’s the kind of result that says more than a win sometimes resilience, teamwork, and a refusal to give up.

And when asked what he’s most looking forward to this season?

“Winning the 2026 championship… and seeing the boys in blue outperform the field.”

That mindset, the preparation, the grit, the belief, is exactly why this partnership makes sense for us at API Property Group.

In motorsport, success starts long before race day. It’s in the preparation, the data, the small technical adjustments that make a big difference when it counts. Property is no different. Securing the right industrial or commercial space isn’t about luck, it’s about understanding positioning, market timing, infrastructure, and long-term performance.

At API Property Group, we work with the same focus our drivers bring to the grid. We look at the fundamentals. We analyse the landscape. We make sure our clients are not just placed in a space, but strategically positioned to perform and grow.

Whether it’s warehousing, logistics hubs, or commercial premises, the right property can be the difference between simply operating and truly competing in your sector.

Round 1 set the tone. The competition is tight. The ambition is high. And the season is just getting started. We’re proud to be part of the journey, trackside and beyond.

If you’re looking for industrial or commercial property that’s strategically positioned to perform, our team is ready when you are.

Let’s get your next move off the line. 🏁
